Leadership. Everybody talks about it, but we can all agree that true leadership is a rare commodity. How can the enterprise encourage more leaders? And how can you, as a person in the business world, become a true leader? Those are the questions at the heart of our new radio show, InformationWeek's Business Matters, at 3:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

In this episode, George Colombo will be talking about leadership with Kristi Hedges, a noted leadership coach. They'll discuss what leadership means, but they'll also get down to the hands-on with a conversation about how individuals can become more effective leaders for their own organizations. As part of that, they'll spend a great deal of time focusing on how effective leaders communicate with their peers, their employees, and their business partners. If you've ever been on the receiving end of "communication that wasn't" in a business setting, you'll know how important this episode is going to be.
