Re: Toolbars, adware...
That's why I used PCs before, too, until one day I did the math and realized how wrong I was. I realized that all what I had wasted in adding, repairing, replacing, etc. on a PC would have bought me a good Mac. That was the day I promised to myself I was going to get a Mac, which was going to save me time, nerves, stress, and lots of money at the end of the day. And that's exactly what it happened.
When you invest on your first Mac then you always get good part of your investment back from Apple's recycling program. Apple send you money for recycling your old devices. With what you get from your old Mac you buy the next one and you just need half of the money. You never have problems, always get your work done faster, and you simply understand what only people who have used Macs know: you never get back to a PC because you truly understand and see all what your Mac can do for you, which no one tells you before, not even the reviews and articles about them.
Oh, I remeber those registry issues. So much time wasted when you could be productive or have some free time instead.
You have like three antivirus. Start adding how much you pay per year just for that. Add the many other things. Do the math, Gary. Macs are worth every penny you invest on your first Mac.
