Cisco Systems last week rolled out the Metropolitan Mobile Network kit, a prepackaged set of products meant to make it easy to set up a metropolitan wireless network, allowing users to roam uninterrupted between Wi-Fi and cellular networks. The package includes Cisco's Aironet 1300 and 1400 series outdoor wireless access points and bridges; and the 3200 series Wireless and Mobile Router, which features a new card that adds support for the 802.11b and 11g wireless standards.
