@StaceyE ah, yes, the bad old days of data transportation. Do you know that radiological labs still use discs, though? I was shocked to discover that when my pediatrician ordered an X-Ray for my son and I had to carry the disc back to the pediatrician's office. For all our talk of EHR, the systems still don't work with each other.

@Whoopty yes, it makes me think of all those discs that used to be sent out before the days of dowloading directly from the internet.
