A company called Anyuser Global revealed today that they're coming out in August
with a $36 USB flash drive dongle that, when plugged into a Windows 2000 or XP PC, enables
phone calls over IP.
Called the ImPhone, the device has software that automatically activates the phone function when plugged in and also launches an application showing an on-screen phone-like interface. Users make calls using a headset that plugs into the device via the PC's Internet connection.
ImPhone can also be used as a flash memory drive and comes in 65, 128, and 256 versions.
