The $89.95 housing makes video iPods submersible up to 10 ft (3 meters) when paired with H2O Audio waterproof headphones, according to the company.
The housing protects the iPod's video screen from scratches as well, according to the company.
It features a "Commander Scroll Wheel" designed to enable access to all the iPods features while underwater and comes with an armband.
Special headphones that work with the new housing, called the H2O Audio Headphones, are sold separately for $39.95.
The company also makes similar housings for other iPod models.
