AT&T To Offer Shared Mobile Data Plan
Like Verizon Wireless' Share Everything plan, AT&T's Mobile Share data plan will let multiple mobile devices belonging to one customer pull from the same data pool. All devices will have unlimited talk and messaging and mobile hotspot service.

Following in the footsteps of Verizon Wireless, AT&T has announced it will offer a shared mobile data plan.
Called AT&T Mobile Share, the new plan lets customers choose an amount of data, ranging from 1GB to 20GB per month, to share among all smart devices. This base cost runs from $40 to $200 per month. Depending on the amount chosen, each smart phone added to the plan costs from $30 to $45 per month (less for plans with more data). Feature phones--those that do not have "smart" capabilities--added to the plan cost $30 per month; notebook and other computers and Mi-Fi adapters cost $20 per month; and tablets and gaming devices are $10 per month.
Each plan requires at least one smart phone. The plans include unlimited talk, SMS and MMS messaging for all devices on the account, and mobile hotspot service.
Customers are not required to change their existing plan.
