It's a start, but only a start
Has anybody had a hands-on look at the Marketing Mix Planning preview? I have not seen it, and I'm wondering about the sophistication of these prections. Too hands on and it will be a turnoff to VPs and CMO. Too lightweight and companies will still have to rely on SAS or other analytic tools to do the real marketing optimization work. Adobe says this become part of the Adobe Marketing Cloud in 2014.

Consumers can only hope that Adobe's roll out of cloud services won't include the DRM nightmare of its software products.

Not the first thing you think of ...
You're right, deep analytics is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Adobe. Do you feel that this is an area the company is committed to, or that it may be looking to spin the division off and sell it to SAP?
