Maybe not quite like the Wrath of Khan
Khan had good reasons to be angry (he *was* unjustly dealt with and his wife and many of his followers were killed as a consequence), though he reacted in an inappropriate fashion and thereby destroyed himself together with the rest of his people (putting ego before the welfare of those he led).

For us geeks, the market is changing and expectations are changing, so we deal with the new circumstances as best we can.  No need to be angry at all.

Undone by wrath and ego
Khan ultimately was a bad leader because of his arrogance and his inability to control his wrath, justified or not. Lesson for CIO: Don't be a hot head who goes around acting like you're smarter than everyone, even if you are.

Re: Undone by wrath and ego
@Shane it's the typical explanation for evil plots in drama -- the person feels wronged by someone who caused the death of someone close to him. The same underlies the first Star Trek reboot.

CIO goes.... where no man has gone before
How could you leave out the Star Fleet mantra, "To go where no man has gone before." Quite appropriate for the contemporary CIO.

Re: Undone by wrath and ego
His ego definitely was his downfall, but on the other hand, Kirk had the sense to listen to his crew who had their own areas of expertise.  A CIO who thinks that he is the sole decision maker and who doesn't value the input of his crew will fail every time.  It is the expertise and wisdom that comes from his peers that will help him ensure success of the overall mission.

Um. Your ST II TWOK pic is credited to Wikipedia, but the Wiki site doesn't own the rights. You need to credit the copyright holder.

Khan would've known that. Hell, even Checkov would know that.
