Great Article Kristin
Too many people either don't understand the value of LinkedIn or think it's only a job search tool. I am fortunate that I discovered it's far more than that and when used properly, it creates lots of value for me and my network.

Thanks for a good article.

Re: Evernote is apparently not friendly for Android
You're right -- no love for Android in this release. Coming soon, though.

Evernote is apparently not friendly for Android
Too bad Evernote has no option for Android users to capture business cards. In fact, they pretty much just ignore Android.

Re: Use these LinkedIn tips
That's one of those features that is probably most useful to people who are actively job searching -- it could serve as a good indicator as to whether people are noticing you (which, in turn, could indicate whether or not you have the right keywords in your profile, etc.).

Use these LinkedIn tips
This is a nice roundup of the new features and how to benefit by using them in LinkedIn, Kristin. (Not sure I want to know how my profile has fared versus friends, associates.)

Re: Touchy situation
There's a quick fix for that: To turn off your LinkedIn activity broadcasts, go to your Privacy & Settings page. Click "Turn on/off your activity broadcasts." Find this option in the Profile tab at the bottom. Then uncheck the box.

Touchy situation
Kristin, seems like some of these settings & tactics could tip off a current employer that you're looking for a new job. Do you hear about employers trolling their employees' LI profiles to see who might be on the hunt?
