I don't know: It's tough when you have more healthcare organizations looking at ways to incorporate these devices into treatment and population health initiatives, the government coming down pretty heavily on promoting a healthy population -- and then telling people they have to pay for these devices 100% out of their paycheck. That said, if these were to become FSA-eligible, it certainly opens the door to home gyms, perhaps bikes, and other health/fitness equipment too. But when HAVE the IRS rules made any sense?!

I'm Skeptical
Riding my bike helps me stay healthy, should I be able to buy a new one with FSA dollars? (I'd like that!)  Beyond the fairly limited example of a doctor writing this into a treatment plan that you note, seems like this isn't going to be a big sales driver.
