It's quite obvious it's not your skills. It must be your personality that is not liked. Maybe the way you present yourself.

HIPAA Certified is also one of the hot spot job requirement specialty in healthcare Industry. This is not only important for healthcare personnel but also for employees of other industries related to healthcare like pharmacy, insurance agents, and the like. Therefore, employees looking to work in any such industry must consider getting a HIPAA certification. Possessing a certification implies that you have undergone the training and are knowledgeable about the various rules, regulations, laws, penalties and other features of HIPAA.

If you are Certified HIPAA Privacy Security Expert (CHPSE), you will definitely be better and more efficient at your job. Ignorance of the HIPAA laws means putting the provider, patient, and yourself at risk. You are responsible for ensuring that the patients' sensitive medical information is protected. The easiest way to get your certification would be to do it online. All you need is a PC and internet connection.

re: Today's Hottest Health IT Jobs Are Epic
I am very baffled that I have extensive clinical and managerial experience, I also have a Master's degree in Computer Science and Health Science and recently completed a PhD in Information Systems and I am unable to get a job in Health IT. The answer to my job applications that I most frequently receive is the following: "We regret to inform you that you were not selected for the position." I also work in a healthcare organization where Epic is being implemented and I have repeatedly indicated my willingness to go through training to become Epic certified, but to no avail. I have gone through multiple interviews at my job, taken an exam, and still was not allowed to go for Epic training. I was told by all the interviewers that I was "impressive" and was also told that I had done "extremely well" on the required exam, but I have not been allowed to be a part of the Epic team at my job. At this point, I am totally at a loss as to what the problem may be. It would be very helpful if I knew what I need to do in order to get into the health IT field. Any ideas?
