Re: Making healthcare more convenient
@Bruce absolutely true. I wonder why work on the subject had not given priority earlier. Saving man hours can acctually be an economy booster in one sense or another. It will not only ease out the stress on patient and doctor but will improve the provision of best treatment as a whole.

Making healthcare more convenient
"Patients have busy lives. How are we making healthcare more convenient for them?"

This is an excellent idea! Aside from easing stress, more convenient healthcare would likely increase productivity in general. Imagine if 1 million hours are wasted a year in waiting rooms and we cut that down to 500,000 hours? That would be a big leap forward. I am seeing some signs of a move in this area - for example, offering flu shots in drug stores and other locations.

Compliance

Anything that helps patients improve health and reduce the burden to an overwhelmed healthcare system is great news, however, I wonder how all the new technology and exchange of information is ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy laws?
