I don't know... I see articles about wireless power and the such and my mind immediately flickers to Tesla and his battles with Edison. Surely Edison won - to the point where Tesla's work is resigned to the realm of fringe science and urban legend.

Wireless power, when taken as a larger subject, is the future. It has to be. While gimmicky items like the wireless power adapter you write about are really kind of a lame interpretation of wireless power as a technology, at least someone out there is doing something to harness the potential of it.
