Ewww, i'm not a goat
I don't even like to eat my ice cream cone, I certainly don't want to eat my coffee cup. Especially if it smells like grass. Nor do I want my coffee to smell like grass. so ewww. I'm not a goat, so why are you trying to get me to eat a cup? I get most of my caffeine from tea so I won't be trying this new experiement.

If only...
Acid reflux has killed my relationship with caffeine. I do miss it. That nice buzz first thing in the morning was a great way to wake up.

Admittedly though, once you get used to not having it, you realise you don't need all that caffeine anyway.

Relieved, but not surprised...
to learn that writers/editors rank 4th among caffeine-drinking professionals. Glad to know that me and my (gallons of) coffee aren't alone! Also, I wouldn't knock this edible cup until I try it. Bonus if there's a fortune hidden at the bottom.

Positive Environmentalism
Eating your coffee cup means we'll no longer have create more planet killing waste by adding it to the trash. What a boon! But does this mean dip in business for donut producers?

Re: Relieved, but not surprised...
@Kelly: Given the fact that most writers have their intellectual moments at night and that's when they do bulk of the writings, it's a bit strange to know that they aren't the most heavy coffee drinkers. Still the number 4th place makes sense.

Re: Ewww, i'm not a goat
@kstarton: While some people may be disgusted with this idea, I don't think it'd be that bad. The concept of bread bowl is fairly popular and people seem to like it. To me it seems very similar to this idea of an edible coffee mug.

@tzubair I love bread bowls, you're right that it's a similar idea. Now you have me thinking whether we can apply the same concept to a donut mug filled with coffee...

@kstaron- Love the goat comparison. I am a fan of the waffle cone so maybe if they made the waffle coffee cup?

Re: If only...
@whoopty- I too quit caffeine. It was really hard. Took months of weening myself off. Now, i can have the occasional caffeine without needed to have it all day. Funny enough, I'm reconsidering my relaitonship with caffeine. Maybe if I can up my caffeine intake and lower my sugar intake I'll feel better.

Re: Ewww, i'm not a goat
@kelly22- I think the problem with a donut cup is that you're supposed to put the donut in the cup not the other way around. :)

But you got me thinking about other things we do with this. How about ketchup packets made of french fries? Peanut butter jars made of chocolate?
