re: Windows 8 Release Preview: Are You Installing?
I have tried to install Windows 8 Review 64 bit. Unfortunately it gave an error code: 0x80070570. This was after I formatted my C Partition, to do a clean install on my C drive. Before I've got Windows 8 Developers 64 bit, but I can't reinstall that one again because it's expired. Now I have to go back to Windows 7 64 bit again. I am pretty much disappointed because my Windows 8 developers was working just fine.
I do hope if anyone can help m on this forum to solve the problem. Thanks for the opportunity to post this matter.
Regards,
Dutchie

re: Windows 8 Release Preview: Are You Installing?
The downloadable .exe hung at 0% completion. Downloaded the ISO and completed upgrade from Consumer to Release. Cannot install Apps from App Store (Tunein Radio and Kindle both fail the install with no information as to issue).

re: Windows 8 Release Preview: Are You Installing?
I have done the Win 8 Developers Review and currently Win 8 Consumers Review. Now we have the Win 8 Release Preview. In general, I can say that I'm not impressed. The Win 8 platform - IMHO - is Microsofts attempt to enter the world of tablets and smartphones. I feel that Win 7 will outlast Win 8, 9 & 10. When it becomes critically obsolete, I rather feel that I'll be a lot deeper into Linux than I currently am. Fruity people (Macs , Apples etc.) will happilly float above it all, totally oblivious to all of the chaos & frustration beneath them.
