Re: A strong suit for digital devices
"I suspect there's not much choice for companies. We can't as a society deny people with disabilities access to services just because we've shifted to digital interaction."

I agree. With technology at our hands we shouldn't see disabled people as a liability, rather we should see them as an opportunity and motivation to innovate, to make their lives simple and easy.

"Building products for the disabled is not just important for those individuals that can't us general products but, it is also important for the world to continue its progress forward."

@Brian, I agree 100%. Meeting Eve Andersson was the best thing that happened to me after five days of technology buzz. Not only she is passionate about her work, but looks like Google is giving her team a great deal of support for their projects

Re: A strong suit for digital devices
Remove Einstein's insight and it would be easy to see that the world would receive a set back of a few decades. Likewise, remove Stephen Hawking's contribution and again, it would be easy to see the setback that the world would receive. Building products for the disabled is not just important for those individuals that can't us general products but, it is also important for the world to continue its progress forward.

A strong suit for digital devices
These are exactly the sorts of needs that digital devices can help to satisfy. One motion can be used to open up a list of choices, and the next movement can indicate the choice for the next step down the directory. It's very heartening to learn that the movers and shakers have these sorts of issues on their front burners.
