There's also something to be said for being able to isolate your data on a storage device, like a USB thumb drive. Sometimes I don't want to store things in the cloud.

I don't believe that wireless is the near-term future for a lot of connectivity jobs -- physical connectivity still is far more quick and efficient and reliable than wireless in many cases. That said, as I've been thinking about this, this amount of ports would be fine by me. I don't want something that sits plugged in all the time, other than my power cord. And everthing else is a quick "transaction" -- plug and print, plug and transfer -- for which is no problem to pull the power cord for a moment. 

Oh, and glad to see the headphone jack remain.
