@impactnow

I agree that the detection systems in casinos are probably one of their top priorities if not #1. I could definitely use some help with my poker game though....

@ Whoopty

I am almost positive that someone out there is probably trying to develop something like you describe as we speak.

@namision.  yeah, may be there will be robots that have a screen for a face, specially when playing poker.  It could change depending on the hand they have or just have a funny face to trick their opponents.

That might be just what I need to help my poker game! Seriously though I would think that any kind of detection system is on the forefront for Casinos. As mobile technology advances card counting will seem like child's play!

@ Pedro:

And the best part is that it already has a poker face! So there is a natural advantage.

Re: robots and poker don't mix
That's an interesting idea. I wonder how long it will be before a wireless equipped computer can fit seamlessly into a person's mouth, or somewhere else out of sight, that when combined with a camera feed could allow a remotely located, high speed system to interpret the best statistical outcome of the situation, with the people then betting that way.

I wonder if casinos and the like would be able to pick that up on their detection systems?
