Re: finding time for "Must-Read Books"

@Kelly  Yes,   living on the East coast  ( I don't ) affords one the opportunity to read with trains and such, unfortunately other areas of the country are not so fortunate, that being said - enjoy and take advantage of it for sure.

Re: finding time for "Must-Read Books"

@mpochan156    That is a good point, outside of technical material, I find it hard to sit and read anything without a return.  Though of course it can be argued that there is a large return in these types of books - I am sure many understand time is a real constraint.

Some really interesting reading material, thanks Kelly !  I will keep my eye out for these . Outliers: The Story Of Success really looks good for instance.

Re: finding time for "Must-Read Books"
A good idea - I know how reading time can be hard to find! Not sure how many people out there take public transit to work, but commuting gave me plenty of time to read (and it makes the time fly by).

Re: finding time for "Must-Read Books"
I usually eat lunch alone, and read. That is enough to get through two or three good tech books a year.

finding time for "Must-Read Books"
I agree with the premise and its value, but other than vacation ( when work and work-related stuff should be put aside ) ... WHEN does anybody find time to read a BOOK ?  At least article like this take 10 minutes... I am seeking new ideas.
