Re: Markets and Consumers
It is good to know that companies are making the effort in diversifying their population.  In this globalize world, a company that doesn't have a diverse workforce will be at a disadvantage.  I would be interested to know what are their plans to increase diversity, are they providing more internships to minority students, participating in minority communities to encourage engineering as a profession, etc

Pay parity
In the blog there are stats of hiring, but what about the pay parity? Last time I checked women with same education, experience and exposure were paid lesser than their male colleagues.

Markets and Consumers
It is good to see that the major players are addressing short and long terms objectives. In the short term consumers consist of both men and women hence, it is difficult to produce a product or service by only employing men or only employing women.

And in the long term, world GDP has to increase and South America, Africa and Asia are the places that enable the highest potential of growth. Without a cultural understanding it is difficult to do business in these markets.
