I really like the Garage departments as Microsoft. People have the ability to develop their own ideas and put it in some application.  In additon of having the right people but also provide with the right tools to work and collaborate, Microsoft will be able to succeed in the future, not just as a technology giant but as a developer of innovation

I'm sure it was a wonderful experience. Kinda envy you a little.
Anyway, did I understand correctly the cybersecurity issue? There are 135 people to handle 450 million calls per day from infected devices. What kind of calls are they? How does the center handle these calls?

"Bet on the person, not the idea"
I do agree on this phrase. Furthermore, I share the same opinion here - the key factor is the person. It's extremly difficult to find and hire the top talent. But it's worth the cost in recruiting - one top talent is more productive than 100 average engineers.
