Re: Kangaroo Laptop
@shakeeb,

Good Question...I think all current providers are trying to answer that question.

I myself and trying to identify that Sweet Spot where I feel I have what I need. I have HTPCs, but I haven't been able to find a remote that fits right. I have a WD TV...love it, and the only draw back so far is I haven't been able to succesfully stream movies from my servers.

I think with Apple we might see a new way of entertainment, once developers get a changes to explore it's potential.

Re: Kangaroo Laptop
There have been other small projects on Kickstarter which has a small module that you could connect your display, keyboard and mouse to use it as a PC. Though it doesn't have a good looking package it seems to be a good concept.

Re: Kangaroo Laptop
@mejiac – Specs will definitely increase in the upcoming versions hence we shouldn't bother much about it. I am just wondering what else they could include in this device for users to use this device at any environment.

@cycle pro- I am sure they could dump in some more memory with limited space. I wish they had a small display with an onscreen keyboard to access while you are on the move.

Re: Kangaroo Laptop
This is the type of product portfolio that allows Microsoft to gain more ground in the consumer market.

Compared to other similar devices (ChromeCast, Apple TV, Roku) that offer entertainment up to an extend, this is a full blown PC to which you can customize to your needs.

THe specs are low, but as things progress I agree with your statement, "maybe they will offer one with more ram"

And probably with a better processor

It looks like a good compromise between a smart phone and a desktop/laptop. Nice is the fact that you can hookup a keyboard and mouse to it. Only issue is the memory.

if this takes off maybe they will offer one with more ram.
