Re: waterproof please
Seems those 5 features are great. Mainly the battery life and the protection from water. However  I think "Sony" came up with these features some time back.

waterproof please
The waterproof feature would go a long way for many people to making this their phone of choice. I like my s5 and am looking forward to seeing what they do with the s7.

Re: Reasons to Upgrade
The article mentions several features that the S7 would need to please the users. I will add a drop in price. I know a lot of people who would welcome that.

Re: Reasons to Upgrade
I upgraded from an S4 to an S6 for personal reasons - the phone was dying, and Best Buy was giving away free tvs. Also, I could buy the phone on the cheap side and not get into the "renting by the month" plan. I admit it's got some annoying features, but it works well most of the time.

Reasons to Upgrade
Samsung is going to have to create a number of compelling features in order for users to upgrade their phones from for instance, a Note 4 to a Galaxy S7. Samsung's user base is based upon expandability (storage), control (removable battery) and diversity (S, A and J series). Hence, it is interesting that Samsung decided to take away a few of these features that might be considered core to the user.

I feel that Samsung's user base is also one of the biggest supporters of the Phonebloks -- it is interesting that Samsung has not experimented with a semi-modular design as well.
