re: SAP Growing Faster Than Oracle
Has it ever occurred to you that you should perhaps do a detailed analysis of financial information to understand what they actually mean, rather than just citing what a company tells you in a press release? SAP compares its inorganic growth to Oracle's organic growth, and they compare SAP's total revenue to Oracle's applications revenue. In addition, they compare SAP's IFRS results to Oracle's GAAP. If you would compare apples to apples, you would actually come to the conclusion that Oracle is growing faster in applications license revenues. But I suppose it's easier to just copy and paste from a press release.
