thank you, plus a few suggestions
SAP is what I would add too, but the collection is very neat nonetheless. I can agree with
Merrily as well that JavaScript charting libraries are another great point when you think
of a tool for data visualization. Wikipedia has a nice comparison of them just in case
anyone is interested - Comparison of JavaScript charting frameworks. According to this
spreadsheet, the most comprehensive JS charting libraries in terms of supported chart types
for example are amCharts, AnyChart and FusionCharts.

Re: Missing key vendor
@Shanayze:

I totally agree with you.

SAP BusinessObjects Lumira should be on the list.

Missing key vendor
Not sure why but the SAP Lumira data visualization tool was completely left out. SAP is the largest vendor in the BI space and their Lumira tool is fantastic yet it wasn't mentioned and instead replaced on the list by inferior tools. Seems like a biased article.

Great list!
This is an amazing collection of full service data visualization and analytics tools. One alternative option might be to build your own, if you have a tech team. It would involve designing a dashboard or two, hooking up a database, and visualizing the data using a JavaScript charting library. Just another idea to throw into the mix!
