I agree. It's nice to have the newer screen technology, but difficult to justify buying a whole new computer to use it. For some, the cost will be worth it.

I like this concept, however I am not so excited about buying another computer to incorporate it.

I'm really impressed with the promises of this built-in privacy screen. It makes sense to work with 3M to build it. I assume the pricetag will be quite high per unit.

Good for HP!
Taking visual hacking seriously and building in a solution, instead of letting 3rd parties eventaully get around to it. Security is part of the product -- hardware and software -- it's no longer someone elses problem, and no longer an ad-on, if that can be avoided
