This is a reality of technology G«Ű it needs electricity and a dry place. Especially with the move to the G«ˇcloudG«÷ and online solutions, folks need to consider what happens when their systems delivered from G«£somewhere elseG«• arenG«÷t online for a while. We used to just hear about natural disasters when they occurred elsewhere. Now, the impact could be really close to home, even if the disaster was not.
Each and every business must consider how they would address a severe information technology outage, and should take steps to protect and preserve business knowledge so that there is some hope of recovery from such an event.
