No, this article is about Windows 8 and Windows RT. Surface Pro is a Windows 8 tablet.

I never said it was advertised for enterprise. That's exactly why I have labelled it a non-functional tablet for enterprise. You obviously missed the humour!

Surface Pro is full Windows 8 - it's for both consumers AND enterprise. Personally, I need the Surface Pro because of the software I need to run on it.

iPad was never advertised for enterprise. Where are you getting that from?

according to @npco543:disqus above that Surface Pro is not a consumer product but rather an enterprise product. So you won't miss anything, go and buy it NOW.

Spot on Eric. Journalism really is going down the crapper. It's just click bait.

Nice rebuttal Eric. Everybody sees what is happening here.
Shame on Information Week and PMcDougall. You have joined Computerworld, InfoWorld and other formally paper based rags that have not survived the move to digital.
These days, REAL news comes from CNet, The Verge, Engadget, etc...Not these clowns. Microsoft, Apple, Google know that, so that is who they talk to.
And that is why these guys are conjuring sensationalist nonsense out of thin air and calling it news.

If someone is not delivering a product and is lying about features (such as 32 GB instead of actual 16 GB), then boasts and randomly sacks the head of division. I would find that worthy writing about.

There already is a non-functional tablet for the enterprise - it's called the iPad.

That's why the Surface Pro is coming, because enterprise needs a proper fully functional tablet.
