re: Microsoft's Ballmer Touts Tablets, Phone, Cloud
Does anyone believe Microsoft is relevant anymore? I have purchased 5 computing devices in the last 2 years and only one was running Windows ( a Windows 7 laptop). Now they are pushing Windows 8 which basically abandons laptop users. Steve Balmer killed Windows tablets 2 years before Apple launched one. If I were a stock holder I would hope that Windows was reinvesting all of their cash in dividend paying stocks and bonds because they cannot generate any reasonable return on investment based on their current business. The Windows phone is DOA just like every other windows mobile device over the last 10 years. And the Surface Tablet is about 3 or 4 years late to market, again DOA. I would sell them short but the market already understands that this is just a cash cow waiting to head to the slaughter house after it quits giving milk.

I am surprised HP has not tried to hire Steve Balmer away from MS, he is a perfect fit for their pantheon of loser CEOs.
