re: Oracle Buys Eloqua: Watch Out Salesforce?
This is a brilliant strategic move for Oracle. Salesforce has been the CRM companion of choice for Eloqua for years and now that Oracle has taken ownership this will change. According to Gartner, Marketo is the closet competitor to Eloqua for this type of marketing automation application with many other solutions primarily considered niche players . Oracle has not only improved its online marketing solution, but also significantly impacted Saleforce and its marketing automation options.
