I don't think Apple's stock dip has anyone too worried given their 5 year 479% gain vs. Microsoft's -14% for the same time period. Also not surprising is sales slowdown. So many people I know have iPhones and iPads already. It's like anything else. Eventually, sales will slow since people have one already. I've seen so many people try an alternative tablet, but eventually, give in to Apple. It just works. Is it expensive? A little. But, there are iPad only apps available that I really enjoy that the other tablets just don't have. The ecosystem is too strong.

Apple could set a $2k price and they'd still sell them. Given lackluster sales, it appears those who blindly buy anything Apple puts its name on may starting to realize they've been paying too much for too long to be told what they can and cannot do with hardware they own not to mention crummy apps like Apple Maps that Apple still hasn't fixed. If MS shipped an app that bad the press would still be hammering them but the press as it is today loves Apple so much that it overlooks the junk apps and policies they force on their customers who in turn turn a blind eye to Apple's poor quality control. Honestly, I'll take my Acer Netbook that I can swap as many removable SD cards in along with a 500GB HDD over an iToy. It might be a bit larger, but it's actually something that you can do business on without Apple's Draconian restrictions. As Win8 Pro tablets become more mainstream Apple had better really start to worry. Given their stock price and their propensity for lawsuits against their own suppliers I'm betting they have already seen the writing on the wall.

Heck yes I would. More room for MY movies on interminable plane flights around the world. Really all depends on how you use the device. If Apple really wants to up the game, they should drop the 16 and just have 32, 64, 128 in the existing model spaces.

No way!!! For an extra $200 I could get a Surface Pro.
