The article reads as if Google's created a $1400 status symbol, and the author is drooling at the prospect of being seen with one on his desk/lap/etc.. I'm sure the Pixel will be able to accomplish what a Chromebook can at 3-4 times the price. The key is, is the 3-4 times the price worth the hit one's status would take?
