Re: Issues with Mobile Content Management and Delivery
I completely agree with you.

To have a seamless connectivity with your cloud infrastructure is a big challenge especially while the app is rich in visual content and animations.

Almost everything has been done to standardize data-flow to and from your mobile device but certain unintended issues still prevail. However, with latest technologies and improvements in cloud infrastructure, it is expected to get better.

With smart technologies taking over the traditional approach, our developers at Cygnet has to be trained for integrating sensors and master specialized libraries to help apps to adapt device capabilities. This is still a burning concern for many mobile app development companies but with the help of communities, it will soon be mastered.

Issues with Mobile Content Management and Delivery
Content requirements of Mobile Apps continue to expand to include rich content - images, videos, etc. At the same time the performance unknowns of  spotty wireless networks and dropped connections. make it difficult to reliably deliver rich content to mobile devices.

Delivery of rich mobile content eats up a lot of bandwidth. Many a time the content is not sized to match the screen dimensions of the mobile device, which adds on to the bandwidth costs.

Managing rich content is yet another pain point. Appstores like Google Play constrain you to bundle all your rich content into monolithic expansion files. Any updates to your rich content requires you to release a new version of your Mobile App.

In my view, mobile content management requires a solution that can reliably deliver content, optimize bandwidth usage, provides flexibility in managing content, and is easy to use.

re: 9 Challenges To Your Mobile App Strategy
I think its critical that from the outset you identify you apps main goal - is it as a marketing channel or as a revenue stream? Both of these options will lead you to very different app marketing, design and monitization strategies. If you have an app idea, or need to create an app marketing strategy here is a good place to start: http://thechocolatelabapps.com...
