re: Cisco Network Upgrade Aids Florida Law Enforcement
This is certainly a great example of the Gǣyou get what you
pay forGǥ adage. Especially when dealing with law enforcement, where not only
peopleGs lives are in play, but also mass amounts of money that can be saved
not only in overtime pay as stated in the article but also in lawsuits against
the department. Having the in-dash cameras with the ability to communicate
rapidly with the central system is crucial as well as having troopers able to
communicate with each other and with headquarters more easily. Cisco is really
providing a great service to the troopers in this instance, and will save them
a whole lot of money and headaches in the long run.
