re: 5 Ways To Tick Off Your IT Recruiter
Lady, you're in no position to know how real executive recruiters work and could not have picked a worse company than Russell Reynolds for this piece... of crap.

If you consider Shawn Banerjee to be an executive recruiter, your standards must be as low if not lower than Russell Reynolds. They are the only staffing firm I've ever heard of who pay other agencies their entire fees to fill jobs. I know, I used to work for one of those agencies and we filled appx 400k of their jobs.

Banerjee is garbage.

re: 5 Ways To Tick Off Your IT Recruiter
Is there any expectation of confidentiality with a recruiter? That seems to hinge on fiduciary responsibility. If a job seeker is honest about compensation -- say, that he *would* take a 10% cut to work at a particular company, but would obviously prefer not to -- can he also be sure that the recruiter will not disclose that to the HR rep at said company?
