re: Xbox One To Offer Unlimited Cloud Storage
Gary, did Microsoft specifically state that the offer would be good whether or not the user has a Gold subscription, or are you just reading into the statement what Microsoft has not yet specifically announced? I'd presume, since a Gold subscription is required for most advanced Xbox 360 applications like Netflix, ESPN3, Amazon Prime, MLB, Free Game downloads, etc.,etc., etc. (the list goes on and on)....that a Gold subscription will be required for any advanced Xbox One features such as NFL, Skype, etc., etc., etc., etc....so don't just presume what Microsoft will do unless they didn't specifically state that a Gold subscription will not be required......hopefully the "deal" will be the same as a current Xbox 360 Gold subscription. And second hopefully, is that an Xbox One Gold subscription will also be good for Xbox 360, assuming you go to your friend's house and they have an Xbox 360. Other unknown --- there was always a way to "network" Xbox 360's to play "Halo 3", etc., etc., etc......will the Xbox One interoperate with Xbox 360's?? Personally I don't care if supposed "gamers" complain that they don't want to pay $5 / month for a Gold subscription. If you're that much of a gamer you shouldn't be buying an Xbox One anyway, stick with playing games on you cell phone.........

re: Xbox One To Offer Unlimited Cloud Storage
Well, this explains why Microsoft is dedicating more servers to the Xbox than either Facebook or Yahoo have in their respective data centers. Something interesting about all this: with Skype and Yammer flowing from Windows 8 to Office 365 to the Xbox, Microsoft's unified communication ambitions are starting to take shape-- and they're pretty big. This is the kind of "one Microsoft" unity that Steve Ballmer talked about, with several different divisions of the company involved in the end user experience. It sounds appealing on paper, and it certainly looks like Microsoft has some to play in the cloud game. But as always, what's planned on paper isn't always what plays out in practice.

Microsoft needs to store the AV feeds somewhere that get constantly collected by the Spybox One. All the really private stuff that the NSA and others are longing for.so watch out where you are scratching yourself in front of the TV, it might be used against you.

Amazon updates already that PS4 overtakes Xbox One. Is this right? Cloud Technology is also integrates in PS4 Consoles.
