re: Google To Replace AT&T Wi-Fi At Starbucks
It was truly a privilege and exciting for me to have worked on this project when at Google. I'm glad to see it has finally announced and look forward to hearing about all the great things from this new relationship.

re: Google To Replace AT&T Wi-Fi At Starbucks
""While you'd have to ask Starbucks for any reasoning behind their decision, in our proposal we also offered up to 10 times faster network and Wi-Fi speeds, so the decision must have been based on criteria other than speeds," the company said."

Google is promising 10x faster speeds than AT&T so what is AT&T comparing their 10x speed to ? 10x faster than what ?

And the NSA will now be able to access your data 10x or 100x faster.

Smart move by Starbucks. I've used the AT&T service there and also a McDonalds, it sucks. Most often I end up using my Verizon LTE service because the AT&T WiFi service is to slow, inconsistent speed with plenty of dropped connections.
