Pretty Useful Actually
Despite the article I found location data extremely useful. For those who would like to check if their photos contain such data I would suggest pic2map.com which actually utilizes EXIF GPS information to map a photo.

re: Facebook Stalking Fears: 6 Geotagging Facts
I did not know about disabling EXIF information, so I for one am grateful I read this article though, it will certainly come in handy when I'm on the run from authorities (Whatever the reason, I'm sure it will be movie-worthy) and want to avoid this classic tracking mistake.
I have to agree with Alex, you just have to expect that your social network experience will never be private enough. Most people could open or access an account in your name with information taken from a Facebook profile, so we'd be kidding ourselves if we thought we're untraceable. IMO the best thing to do is be smart, and not broadcast anything too.. tempting?
When I use a social network, I have a certain level of expectation of lack of privacy. After all - I am sharing the picture/post/status for others to see. Not that I need my home address broadcast to my entire network, but as long as I don't post those specific addresses, I think some risk can be avoided.

re: Facebook Stalking Fears: 6 Geotagging Facts
It's amazing how quickly Facebook users will propagate a rumor. I'm wondering if it impacted many people, and whether it will cause them to think twice before posting personal pictures.
