re: Apple Unveils iPhone 5s, 5c
Yeah, there definitely aren't any headline-grabbing features outside of Apple's brand, and the fingerprint reader. Apple made a big deal of the new processor, so perhaps once people begin using the 5S, the combination of better internals and iOS 7 will be compelling. That said, I'm not sure yet what the 64-bit architecture is going to add for most users, at least in the short term.

I just don't see anything here that is too compelling or innovative that would send consumers rushing to the store, even though they will because of the brand name ...

So I take it the "c" is for "cheap?" Maybe that's an effort to stigmatize buying it in developed countries while letting would-be buyers in China think of it as the "China" model?

Agreed. 32GB is scarcely enough anymore but I expect the price would have invited ridicule.

I was dissapointed not to see a 128Gb option which was widely reported as coming in the 5S.

My thought as well. Everything had been forecast so thoroughly, I almost felt sure Tim Cook would throw in a "one more thing" moment. Not this time, though.

Curious to know what iOS users think about the iWorks inclusion, and the extent to which it satisfies their need to create content on a mobile device.

Amazing that pretty much everything which is new has been leaked in great detail. Apple's leaking like a sieve!
