This is clearly an article for the Millennials and not for those how have been "down in the trenches" for too many years coding, building infrastructure and doing support. I'll have to give this article a failing grade for being too narrow in scope.

I like the term "mastermind group." Everyone needs a brain trust. I would add 2 other items to this list: 1. Broaden your Twitter network of subject matter experts 2. Seek out public speaking opportunities. Others?

Followup idea: Everyone asks a former frenemy what they hated about us, then we all go get our Prozac prescriptions. Seriously, unless you pick the person well, that could open a can of worms many people would do better to avoid.
