Good advice on making sure the backup copies are destroyed. Seems that should be in the service contract.

File size doesn't relate to size of business. Many large businesses have valuable compliance and regulatory archives based on millions of small or medium sized files, including email and server log file data. If Nirvanix merely holds the third copy of data stored in small files, then customers will often be able to replicate that third copy elsewhere. But not everyone has built in that level of redundancy. The deadline dictated by Nirvanix may not be enough time.
