I wanted to add that the Ellipsis could be also a competition against the Kindle Fire HD; which Amazon sells it for $229. Nevertheless, they add 100 bucks for Verizon & AT&T LTE. So, 80 bucks more expensive than the Verizon one. Do you guys know that the regular Kindle Fire HD with 8GB costs $139? With what they called special offers that is. I wonder how many people will start using a 7-inch tablet running android as just a phone. Is it crazy?
Verizon! I guess AT&T has a bunch of devices, so why not? But really, it's getting crowded what with search engine vendors (Google) and software vendors (Microsoft) entering the device business. Now we're going to see telcos in this game, too? Rest assured, competition is a good thing. Just as new players are emerging, others (Blackberry) seem to be going away. It keeps things interesting.
