Uploading photos on facebook
When uploading photos from my iphone 5 to facebook, how do I stop the stream of comments and likes from previous posts on the new photos? I would like to be able to only see comments and likes made on the photos I just newly uploaded. Thanks!

Re: Block groups from viewing timeline on iphone/iPad
Hi Kristin,
Thank you for your reply. I used to be able to post from my iPhone so that "Friends except [list]" were blocked. That is still the setting on my laptop, though it has now changed on the iPhone! Is there any way to sync the privacy ("Friends except [list]" blocked) back on the laptop and the iPhone?
Re: Block groups from viewing timeline on iphone/iPad
I don't think you can set a default of "Friends except [list]" -- I think you can choose only from Public and Friends. You can set individual status updates differently, though. If your primary setting is set to Friends and you want to omit a specific list, type that in under "Custom." Facebook saves your latest setting, though, so remember that the next time you post (regardless of the device you post from) it will post only to your customized list unless you change it back. Hope that makes sense.

Block groups from viewing timeline on iphone/iPad
Hi,
I have managed to change the setting on Facebook on my computer. So now my timeline posts can be viewed by Friends except Named Group. I have added those people to Named Group who I would like to hide my Timeline from.
This was the setting on my iphone/iPad as well but now my Timeline settings on the iphone/iPad have changed to except for Friends. I cannot change the setting on the iphone/iPad to Friends: Except Named Group but have to add the friends I want to block individually. Is there anyway to block the Named Group fr viewing timeline posts or do I need to add the friends separately?
Thanks!
You can't prevent being tagged in an update or photo, but there is a setting that lets you review each of your tags before they appear on your profile.
To find this, go to your Privacy Settings page and click Timeline and Tagging on the left-side menu. Click Edit next to the second option, "Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline" to enable it.
On your mobile phone, the process is similar: Tap "More" on the bottom navigation, then tap the privacy button next to your name. Then tap More Settings > Timeline and Tagging > Review posts friends tag you in before they appear on your timeline.
