Same here -- so far, no unwanted emails. Then again, Google said it's gradually rolling out the feature, so I suppose time will tell...

That was my exact reaction, too.


I use Gmail as a personal email account. I wonder if business users -- sales people, for example -- may find it useful, though. Readers, can you think of any practical uses?

Google could have prevented a lot of aggravation by making this opt-in instead of opt-out. Brace yourselves for Gmail tech support calls from confused relatives.

I've left this option on for my account as an experiment. I'm interested to see how many solicitations and pieces of junk mail I get. Stay tuned...

G+ / Gmail change doesn't matter to me
My email address is already published to the universe, so I have to rely on skimming / filtering  techniques to filter out the important stuff and ignore the rest.
