I used the NBC app on my TV -- it's listed as a channel but provides video app capability, like looking at athlete profile videos, event recaps, all navigated with the remote control. It's kind of a hybrid between an app, on demand TV and a traditional channel.

But really, I'll watch the Olympics in any format, on any device. Spent an hour Saturday rooting for a 40-year-old Norweigan to win a biathalon sprint. Way to go Ole!

I do like this list of Apps. I think from sometime ago the big events all have its dedicated Apps developed. During the event the people will download them to get realtime information. In China we also have similar stuff. For Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, CCTV has published its mobile app so that mobile users can watch the news and even realtime broadcast from their BYOD device.

I second the Olympic Athletes' Hub -- if you want just one app, this one will give you all the info you need. The customizable feed is a plus, too.
