The secret to cloud success....
At the start of 2013, DigitalOcean ranked 568th among cloud suppliers. Then Ryan Bates' popular RailsCast information service on Ruby on Rails moved onto DigitalOcean, along with some documentation of the Rails open source project. Legions of developers followed. Virtual server prices for instances favored by developers run .7 cents to 1.5 cents an hour. Not sure where DigitalOcean ranks, now but probably in top 50-60 cloud suppliers.
