Coming to predicted 5.24 inches display for Samsung Galaxy S 5, I must say it is a bit strange. We are moving toward the size of the smart phone where users might become weary of carrying big devices with them. Besides, what will be the distinguishing factor between Samsung's smart phones and their Galaxy Note devices if not display size?

There has been a kind of struggle going on between Samsung and Apple regarding the display size of their smart phones. Samsung has been pushing the boundaries of display size to larger displays while Apple is trying hard to keep the displays around 4 inches. It is difficult to say though what users are more in favor of.
