Mix10 Promises Windows Phone 7 Dev Goodies

Mix10 starts Monday in Las Vegas. It is the end-all be-all event for Microsoft to tout its tools for Web developers. It is also when the veil of secrecy is lifted on the Windows Phone 7 Series so developers will finally know what has to be done to get apps running on the platform.

Mix10 starts Monday in Las Vegas. It is the end-all be-all event for Microsoft to tout its tools for Web developers. It is also when the veil of secrecy is lifted on the Windows Phone 7 Series so developers will finally know what has to be done to get apps running on the platform.Dozens of sessions are scheduled and finding one that fits your needs should be pretty simple.

If you are just interested in what is going on, you may want to stream the keynotes. They begin at 9:00 AM PT on March 15th and 16th at the Mix10 site. Channel 9 will be broadcasting interviews with Microsoft executives, customers and partners throughout the event. If you are a developer, though and intend to target the platform, you really need to be there.

Here are just a few of the sessions that will discuss WinPho 7:

This just scratches the surface, There are several other sessions on Silverlight that get into optimization, testing and advanced skills. XNA has its share of sessions too, and there are other sessions dedicated to games, no matter which development tool you choose. Stay tuned to the Over The Air blog next week. New and juicy details about the platform are sure to be announced and leaked as Mix10 progresses.
