American Airlines
Frequent fliers have easy access to their itineraries with the American Airlines Apple Watch app, which provides flight information like gate changes, a map with time remaining until arrival, and baggage claim and connection details. It'll even give you a heads-up when it's time to leave for the airport.

Re: Less stress
Exactly. Granted, the apps don't make the Apple Watch a must-have device (still waiting for an app that does that) but they could really boost Watch appeal for people who are always on the move.

Less stress
Perhaps the apps can make the iWatch something to get a bit more excited about. If I traveled a lot these apps sound like a good way to help me get to where I'm going with a bit less stress.

Re: Apple watch
" the Watch certainly has perks for frequent travelers, which is why I chose to spotlight a few prominent apps here. In general, I think it's geared towards on-the-go consumers and not specific to travelers. Many of the capabilities that Apple is pushing (fitness tracker, mobile payment, wearable notifications) aren't necessarily travel-specific but still good for daily use."

Kelly22, thanks for the clarification. Since its comes under wearable technology health monitoring is a good use case than travelers.

Re: Apple watch
" other helpful apps for travelers that I'm sure someone would have thought of already include money conversions. And for Americans going just about anywhere else in the world, a conversion of metric to our old-time measurements would be handy to understand just how far something is and if a temperature of 30 is as cold as it sounds to us."

Ariella, thanks and you are right for peoples who are following different metric systems, currencies etc.  My concern is if it has only travelers helping apps, then it can be branded as a device useful only for travelers. Since watch is a part of wearable devices, health monitoring can be a major use case.

Apple watch
"Already there are 3,500 apps ready for download on the Apple Watch, and more than a few that give stressed travelers some welcome relief. The Watch can tell you what time to leave for the airport, check you into your hotel, and recommend a local restaurant for dinner."

Kelly, while going to Apple watch review; it seems that its best suited for travelers and most of the apps are related to outing and travelling schedules. Is it the watch programmed in such a way to help only for travelers? So far I haven't got my watch and waiting for the next allotment.

Navigation
Navigation has always been an important activity, from using the stars to navigate the seas too using an app to navigate the complex city. However, the stars were naturally produced and once a user was able to use the stars to navigate, the rule remained pretty much the same, with apps the problems is that firms need to invest into app creation so that user have a tool at their disposal -- it is good to see that some airline businesses are investing in navigation.
